Soft shell crab burger with sweetcorn relish and lobster mayo, followed by a rosewater and peach ice-cream float; I can't think of a better way to kick off a weekend than a visit to Kerb street food market in King's Cross.
I was at the market for a blogger's photography workshop with Paul Hames run by Simply Health, with the aim of capturing the 'perfect smile'. Now if there's one thing that makes me smile it's good food, and Kerb's offering is an indulgent one. Think burritos, donuts and sweet potato fries - calorific but delicious treats I only allow myself on the weekend (bar the occasionally slip up!). If you're heading to Kerb anytime soon I can highly recommend the soft shell crab burgers from Crabbieshack and the exotic ice creams from Ruby Violet.
I wore my lovely new Great Plains Jenna shirtdress (c/o) for the first time, and it just so happened that it co-ordinated with the surroundings, so Lucy from Shiny Thoughts kindly helped me with some outfit shots. The dress is one of my favourite new things in my wardrobe, the ice cream colour palette feels so fun. It has a feminine shape that references the 1950s without appearing too retro and a generous full skirt that hit the knee on my 5'11 frame. And it's now in the sale, too!
Crossbody Bag - Boden. Jewelled sandals - Clarks. Bracelet - c/o Monica Vinader. Sunglasses - old Marc by Marc Jacobs.
Thank you to Simply Health and Paul Hames for some great photography tips and a fun Saturday x
Nice Photos, Nice Crops, Tops and Frocks! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Paul, I tried to apply the rule of thirds when cropping! Was a really interesting class.
