I like to practise what I preach, so this latest outfit is inspired by my recent post featuring slogan sweaters and midi skirts.
As soon as I blogged about it, I knew the Warehouse organza check skirt had to be mine. It's a great buy because it taps into the SS14 trend for sheer fabrics, without actually baring any flesh, making it wholly office appropriate [wear it with a crop top for play].
I swapped the slogan sweater element for my Wildfox tee, which was a purchase from The Outnet last summer. Slogan tees and sweaters are a huge trend right now and I love the pop of yellow delivered by this number [although I did make the error of wearing it King's Cross St Pancras whilst waiting for to meet a friend - judging by the pitying glances - I think some commuters took my request literally]
The jewelled yellow pony hair sandals are recent purchase from Clarks, inspired by one of my favourite bloggers, the Frugality. Super-comfy and great quality, I know they are going to be on my feet all summer. Playful and fun accessories are my signature, so I added my Peter Pilotto for Target shades and new gold Mya bag from Boden. The gold colour way has now sold out, but there is a great glossy pink neon alternative available. Likewise the Peter Pilotto range sold out in 24 hours, but there are many fun frames available on the high street this summer. You may remember my black neoprene bomber jacket from London Fashion Week - it's from & Other Stories and it's my best purchase of 2014 so far.
Wonderful and very summery look! The top and the skirt are my favourite and I love a little bit of sparkle with those jewels and gold bag. :)

I love this whole outfit Sophie, seriously everything about it is so on point! So jealous of the bomber and I can't believe the shoes are from Clarks x
