Recently LFF was lucky enough to be one of a handful of fashion bloggers, journalists and stylists invited to have a sneak preview of Westfield London’s newest shoe store: Mascotte. Whilst you may not be familiar with the name, Mascotte happens to be one of Europe’s biggest footwear brands and is poised to leave a fashionable footprint on the UK market in 2013.
So, what can shoe connoisseurs expect from the brand? Well, if you like luxurious leathers, brightly blocked colours and exuberant details then you’re in for a treat. Click below the jump to discover Mascotte for yourself
Once inside the store, we were treated to extremely drinkable champagne from Searcys and relaxing hand massages from Rituals whilst browsing the gorgeous shoe collection.
Bold block colours are a signature of the Mascotte style. The colourful abstract print on these towering platform sandals caught my eye.
The quality of leathers used really stood out for me. This pair of elegant point toe flats with bow detail were beautifully made and finished.
Footwear is merchandised alongside colour co-ordinated accessories in store with delicate scarves, leather goods, handbags, sunglasses and sun hats on offer.
These kaleidoscopic heels were my absolute favourite style previewed. The periwinkle blue colourway in particular really worked for me and had more than just a hint of the Brian Atwood about them.
Eye-popping colour was everywhere you looked in store. I like the way neon highlights elevate the above style from a stylish shoe to something special.
Glossy patents were seen throughout the collection.
These totes have a continental elegance about them. You can see the influences of European style throughout Mascotte's collection.
Mascotte also know how to do a good flat shoe. These high-gloss brogues had a slight iridescent finish and were a big hit with the press and bloggers in attendance.
I love a chunky wooden unit on a sandal. Perfect for stomping round town in come summer!
Even the classic bow detail ballet pump was given the colour pop treatment!
Feature heels appeared on many styles. I loved these monochrome stilettos with geometric metallic heel details, super-glam
Laser cut leathers had a high-end feel.
I loved the contrast between the coral leather uppers and wood inlay effect platforms in the above sandals.
The colour block courts were another big hit with bloggers and press.
There were so many lovely things in the Mascotte store, I highly recommend paying a trip to Westfield to check it out for yourself. Mascotte were also kind enough to let me take a pair of shoes home, so I picked a beautiful pair of flat red leather sandals that I can't wait to wear when the weather warms up. Look out for them in a forthcoming LFF outfit post!
A big thank you to the Mascotte and Native LND for a fabulous evening x
