Last week I headed to the Sanderson hotel for the Good Results PR AW13 press day, held in the fabulous penthouse. The main draw for me was to see the latest Ruby + Ed offering, because not only are the team simply lovely, but the collections are always a delight. As a lover of all things cosy (I collect bedsocks and I have a hot water bottle nearly every night...) the brand's luxurious approach to loungewear really appeals to me.
The brand's AW13 collection has an bohemian global-traveller vibe, with Brand Director Nazia Govaria on her inspiration: 'my inner Magpie seeped into the collection adding the shimmer throughout, as did all the beautiful ethic craftsmanship of China, India and Mexico'.
Not only is the loungewear beautiful, but this season I am in love with the women's fashion collection which has taken on a fashion-forward edge. I will be sharing lookbook images on here in the future. But for the moment check out my photos of the luxury slipper goodness that you can expect from the brand come AW:
Everything in the collection is so tactile- you just want to reach into the photograph to stroke it!
Sequin embellishments, pom-poms & embroidery lend ethic appeal to the collection. Plus the pom-poms are super cute!
Positioned next to the Ruby + Ed collection was a beautiful watch brand that caught my eye. Olivia Burton designs fashion watches featuring vintage-inspired nature motifs. I particularly loved the victoriana-inspired butterfly watches; they would look great layered up with charm-laden bracelets. The price points are great too- averaging around the £60. Her 'Big dial' designs are also bang-on-the-money, I'm seriously considering investing in an rose gold face watch.
Good Results were kind enough to lay on some champagne tasty nibbles for us at the press day, what an amazing spread!
A big LFF thanks to Good Results & The Ruby and Ed team for a fun evening of fab fashion x
