SUPER SCUTT

It may be freezing, but all this lovely sunshine is getting me in the mood for summer, which inevitably leads me to start thinking about my summer wardrobe. I am hoping I will get to spend some time in Spain this summer, and I've just come across a gorgeous swimsuit in the new Danielle Scutt @ Topshop collection that will allow me to sunbathe in style. Scutt is known for her sexy designs that make woman look cool and yet luscious at the same time. This little number is £45, and is a great pre-summer investment buy. Just beware of the unusual tan lines (i.e. a tanned tummy).

Such is my enthusiasm for the Scutt collection, I have decided to write a piece for my magazine on it. It's edgey and fashionable enought to appeal to my target market whilst cheap and available on the high street. Designer diffusion ranges are great because they bring high fashion to those on high street budgets. And as that's the mission of my magazine this collection is perfect to feature.

SOPHIE IN WONDERLAND

Tom Burton's latest film Alice in Wonderland has caused fashion to go a little bit Lewis Carroll character crazy lately, and I've just come across the most beautiful pendant from the Disney Couture Alice in Wonderland collection, designed by the talented Tom Binns.

This gorgeous key-hole shaped pendant has a delicate gold frog, 'drink me' bottle and a grinning cheshire cat charm amongst others encased within it. So stunning, it costs £65 and can be purchased from ASOS.com.

AMAZING SUMMER DRESS!

Now for my sanity, a non-uni work related blog about something nice. By nice I mean real nice. Check out this gorgeous Marc by Marc Jacobs dress I spied on Net-a-porter.com today:

Ladies this dress is a serious summer must-have. The aztec print is very current, as is the form-fitting cut. It can be worn with bare legs and flat leather sandals for day or high heels and gold jewels for hot summer nights. It would also look nice with a light chambray shirt thrown over the top for a relaxed look. Even the cute little pockets make a nice addition. The only set back? Um... the price. £250 sob sob !!! But seriously, if you're young, have a good body and the money to splash (i.e. you are a wag/ have millionaire parents) this would make a great summer wardrobe investment.
